To commemorate Women’s History Month this March, The Greenville Triumph & Liberty is proud to spotlight the remarkable contributions of women within our community. The Club is dedicated to sharing the stories of inspiring women, with a focus on celebrating and showcasing their impactful roles in shaping the rich history of our organization.
Kaylin LeCroy
Manager of Partnership Activation
I work with our (Triumph and Liberty) corporate partners to ensure they get the most out of their sponsorship. I help plan events and work to create an incredible experience both for corporate partners and fans.
For me, being a woman in sports is a great way to challenge myself and to constantly push boundaries. I enjoy thinking outside the box and showing people how creativity can help evolve what we already know and love about sports. I also love competition and the nature of working for a sport that already has a strong reputation, which helps challenge me as I grow professionally.
My favorite moment was working on planning our first Changing the Conversation event. Starting an advocacy program from the ground up has been such a fun project and puts me in a position to learn a lot. Pushing me to think more about giving women tools to push boundaries without sticking to the typical DEI initiatives has been fun. Our first event showcased four women in different industries, all sharing powerful stories that fuel their drive to put forth their best work. Not only was I inspired, but it helped to shape the vision of where the program should go in the future.
My boss, Megan Kolak, has been nothing short of exceptional when it comes to mentoring and serving as a source of inspiration. She is so wise and always has a new perspective on a project or challenge we are taking on. She inspires me always to be learning and soaking in every opportunity that comes my way.
Abigale Taylor
Game Presentation Coordinator
I act as the game day/event director which includes writing and producing scripts for all Triumph and Liberty home games. I also conceptualize, develop, and facilitate the implementation of creative programming related to all in-stadium entertainment.
Sports is a difficult field to break into to begin with, especially as a woman. Personally, it shows resilience and that we, as women, are able to do the job just as well as anyone else.
Actually, seeing women go pursue their dreams to work in sports and talk about how they were able to get to where they are now is super inspiring for not just me, but generations to come. It shows that all you have to do is put your mind to it and that hard work pays off.
