Former Colorado Springs forward to join Greenville for 2023 Season
Greenville, SC (March 13, 2023)- The Greenville Liberty announced the signing of Taeya
Schueppert for the 2023 season, pending league and federation approval. The University of
Colorado, Colorado Springs alumni will compete with the club as a forward for their sophomore
season.
A top soccer recruit in 2019, Schueppert spent her collegiate career at UC Colorado Springs.
Between two seasons, she competed in 19 matches, recorded 659 minutes, scored three goals and
had one assist for the Mountain Lions.
Before college, she helped lead her team to the 2018 U.S. Soccer Development Academy
National Championship and was selected to the U17 Women’s National Team Camp.
Taeya will join the Liberty roster alongside her sister Haley Schueppert, and fellow club
newcomers, Patrice DiPasquale and Gabriela Gonzalez. The 2023 USL W League will kick off
its second season this May in hopes of bringing home the W League Trophy. To purchase season
