A forward from Greenwood, S.C., she recently completed her freshman year at Barry University after being recruited at the USL Academy Cup 2022 tournament with the Greenville Triumph. Prior to joining the Buccaneers, she spent time abroad with QSI International School of Astana in Kazakhstan. She was named a two-time QSI Astana Athlete of the Year and 2019 Tournament MVP for the Central Asia Soccer Classic, and was invited to train with BJMORSM in the pre-professional, Kazakhstan Second League. After returning stateside in 2022, Applegate laced up for Greenwood High School, leading the team with 15 goals and finishing her youth club career with Carolina Elite Soccer Club ECNL.
